It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Wallace, of Nokesville VA, who died after a short illness on June 9, 2024.


Robert is survived by his son, Robert Wallace, (Don Emeigh), his daughter, Peggy "Sissy" Woolfrey, (Jesse Woolfrey). Granddaughters, Patricia Woolfrey and Jessica Woolfrey. A Sister, Peggy Foshee (Johnnie) of Tyler TX and brother, Bob Wallace (Sarah) of Troy NC. Great-Grandchildren, Emily, Steven, Hailey, Colton and Connor. Nephews and Niece, Johnnie, Bobby and Sherry-Beth and many great nephews and nieces.


Robert is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, his parents Lovie (Loper) and Bob Wallace, his brother-in-law, Johnnie Foshee and nephew Billy Foshee.


Robert was born in Jacksonville, TX in 1946. He spent many summers with his aunt, uncle and cousins in TX. He joined the Navy in 1964. He married Dorothy in 1966. The family was stationed in many areas throughout his career, before his retirement in 1990 as a Senior Chief Mess Management Specialist. Robert, never able to just retire, started his own successful home improvement business with his daughter, Sissy. His best friend, Bucky Bryant, helping him along the way.


Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing. and of course, entertaining his friends and buddies throughout the decades. Robert and his wife, Dorothy hosted many BBQ's at their home in Nokesville. Later in life, Robert enjoyed his morning coffees with The Team. Robert and Dorothy had many dogs during their marriage. Robert's last pet, Quinn, was his pride and joy. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.


The family will receive visitors Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 5-8PM at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22192. The family will also receive visitors Friday, June 21, 2024 at Miller Funeral from 1030-11AM with a service from 11AM-1230PM. Interment with military honors will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.

Roland Creaser

Roland Creaser – age 83, passed away at home in Largo, Florida, on 01/28/2022, surrounded by family. Roland was born 12/10/1938 in Englewood, NJ. He then moved to Antwerp, Belgium, with his parents. After Belgium, Roland moved to Darien, Connecticut, where he met the love of his life, Sally Tief. He graduated from Darien High School in 1958. He enlisted in the US Navy, where he spent time in New York, Maryland, Delaware, and South Carolina.
John Robert Hardin

John Robert Hardin, age 59 of Delaware died unexpectedly at home, early Monday morning, January 10, 2022. He was born on April 20, 1962 in Twentynine Palms, California. As a member of Boy Scout Troop 348, he proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout. John was a US Navy veteran who worked on refurbishing the USS New Jersey. Throughout his working career, he had worked as a park ranger, police office for the city of Glouster, and as a bus driver for the Delaware City School system and was the owner of Hardin Landscaping. He truly endeared the students who rode his bus.
Ralph Franklin Bornhorst

He was born on February 18, 1922 in Anna to the late Louis & Rose (Meyer) Bornhorst. He married Rita (Bensman) in 1946 and she preceded him in death on February 9, 1986. Ralph married Madeline (Bigham) Bornhorst in 1987 who preceded him in death on March 28, 2019.
